ABOUT

The Florida College System Foundation was established in 1994 and has been providing student scholarships to Florida's 28 colleges since 1999.  The foundation supports the mission of the Florida College System and advances statewide initiatives in postsecondary higher education. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the official direct support organization for the Florida College System. The mission of the Florida College System Foundation is created in Florida Statute 1004.71. The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively to receive, hold, invest and administer property and to make expenditures to, or for the benefit of, the Florida College System institutions in the state of Florida.

The Florida College System is the primary access point to higher education for Floridians, including recent high school graduates and returning adult students. The 28 member colleges of the Florida College System respond quickly and efficiently to meet the demand of employers by aligning certificate and degree programs with regional

The Florida College System Foundation awards more than $1 million in scholarships annually.  Students who are enrolled in one of Florida's 28 colleges can apply for these scholarships at their local college. To find your college's foundation, click here.
